Red Tent ~  A Women's Circle

There is a regular Red Tent that happens every month in Bristol on the monday evening nearest the new moon.  A Red Tent is a place where women come to connect and check in, a place for authenticity and Sisterhood.  This is a space for sharing our vulnerabities and deep truths, for making heartfelt friends, for being heard and offering an opportunity to really listen.  It is also a place for joyful intimacy and celebration of all things feminine.

This group arose from the inspiration of the book 'Red Tent' by Anita Diamant.  The red tent is the place where women gathered during their cycles of birthing, menses, menopause and even illness.  It was a place for women to celebrate the phases of womenhood and to reap the wisdom of other women and elders within the circle.  It is a place of support and a much needed resource in a world where women are tirelessly giving of themselves and often neglecting their own needs.

You can stay connected with up coming dates via the Red Tent Facebook Page  If you have any questions about the Red Tent, or if you would like to bring something to the circle please do get in touch.  The Red Tent runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on a monday once a month at ' My Other Space ' 23 Backfields Lane Bristol, BS2 8QW.  There is a small charge to cover venue cost.

Please do get in touch if you feel you would like to attend.
